Want to play Mahjong? Please join us to play using the National Mahjong League rules and cards. Our group consists of various levels of players and is open to anyone who knows the basic rules and has some experience with the game. If you would like to learn how to play, please reach out to Suzie Schmitz and she will put you on the list for the next teaching session.

While all PYCC Club members are welcome to join us every week, we must limit play for non PYCC Club members due to Club rules. Non PYCC Club members are welcome to join us once a month.

We encourage everyone to join us for lunch before we play. Lunch gives us a chance to catch up and get to know everyone better before we sit down at separate tables and focus on play. We have a lot of new players that we are thrilled to have and would love to get better acquainted. Also, the Club strongly encourages players to have lunch before they allow us to use the clubhouse on Tuesdays which is their designated "card day".

What is Mahjongg or Mahjong? It is an ancient Chinese tile-based game that is popular worldwide. Mahjong is a game of skill, strategy, calculation and it involves a degree of chance. It's a lot of fun, try it out!

Brunch and Gulfport Community Players Summer One Acts (July 19, 2026)

Please join us for Brunch at Mademoiselle Paris in the Peninsula Hotel, followed by the Gulfport Community Players Summer One Acts show at the Catherine Hickman Theater. One Acts features 10 original plays ranging from comedy to light drama. The show includes the play "Easy Bill Pay" starring our very own Stefanie Gilbert! So please come out and join us as we support Stefanie and our community. It's going to be a lovely afternoon in our quaint Gulfport.

We hope you join us for brunch, but if you want to just go to the show that would be great as well.

LUNCH BUNCH-The Library (August 20, 2026)

This month we return to one of our favorite lunch spots! Please join the Lunch Bunch at the Library restaurant in downtown St Pete.

The Story Behind the Restaurant:

George Peabody believed in the power and importance of education in the lives of others. One of his many legacies is the George Peabody Library, an institute he built for, and dedicated to, the citizens of Baltimore in 1857.

Johns Hopkins was inspired by his close friend George Peabody to use his great wealth for the public good. The collaboration between these men and the institutions they created is the inspiration for our restaurant, located within Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL.

At The Library, the familiar aroma of coffee, the promise of a delicious meal, and the anticipation of friendly buzz will offer a reprieve from the daily chaos. It is where the community as a whole comes to refill their cup, both proverbially and, often, quite literally.

In collaboration with the teams behind Oxford Exchange, Oxford Design Studio, and Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, The Library Restaurant was created; we hope to honor our namesakes through this restaurant.
